PORCH HOSTS

PORCH HOST 
APPLICATION

We are looking for porch hosts to participate in Old Milford Porchfest this year! 

Hosts must provide a covered space for the musician(s) and electricity if needed for the band. Bands are encouraged to monitor their sound levels to keep the event from becoming disruptive to other performances and neighbors.

Some hosts like to put out chairs, blankets, bug spray, etc for guests to use but this isn’t required. 

Please complete the form to apply to be a Porch Host at Old Milford Porchfest this year. 

Porch Host responsibilities include: 

1. Porch Host agrees to provide covered porch/tent/garage for musician/band assigned at the assigned time. Performances are typically around 60 minutes.

2. Porch Host will coordinate with the musician/band assigned to you about the logistics of their performance (i.e. space needed, equipment, electricity needs, etc.). You agree to connect with your musician/band within five days of your assignment. Host will provide electrical outlets and extension cords if outlets are not convenient to stage. 


3. Porch Host will participate rain or shine.

4. Porch Hosts will be available on location for the entirety of the time assigned. 

5. Porch host confirms that they have communicated intent to participate as a host with neighbors on either side of their porch. 

6. Some homeowners, at their discretion, may elect to purchase additional liability insurance for the day of the event. Please reach out to your insurance provider for details and a recommendation.
